Ground monuments are movable or immovable objects that are testimonies, remains or traces of human culture (archaeological monuments) that are or were hidden in the ground.

The competent authority will provide you with information on any fees that may be incurred.

Responsible for applications for excavations, earthworks in places with ground monuments and receipt of soil finds is initially the lower monument protection authority of your district or your district-free city.
