On behalf of the legislator, the Building Regulations Office monitors compliance with public building law. This results in the following tasks for the Building Regulations Office:

• Examination of building applications
• Granting of building permits
• Answering preliminary construction inquiries
• Structural testing and other structural evidence including monitoring
• Testing of special constructions
• Participation in the fire show
• Editing contradictions
• Regulatory measures within the framework of building supervision
• Entering the construction loads and keeping the construction load register
