A conveyance is a declaration of agreement between the seller and the buyer of a property. Both must make this declaration of agreement in front of a notary at the same time. However, this alone does not constitute a transfer of ownership. In addition, the entry of the legal change in the land register must be added. In order to protect the interests of the buyer, the notary therefore has the conveyance noted in the land register until the final transfer can take place in the land register.
