Apply for company certification for the installation, maintenance, servicing, repair and decommissioning of equipment with refrigerants

Description

You require a company certificate in accordance with the Chemicals Climate Protection Ordinance if your company installs, maintains, services, repairs or decommissions the following equipment:

stationary refrigeration systems,
stationary air conditioning systems and heat pumps,
stationary organic Rankine circuits,
Refrigeration systems in refrigerated trucks and trailers,
Refrigeration systems in light refrigerated vehicles, intermodal containers and railroad wagons
Fire protection equipment.

You may only carry out work on these systems if your company is certified. A certificate for the certification of the company will be issued upon application.

As a company, you must prove that you

have sufficient competent personnel and
have the necessary technical equipment.

Prerequisites

Your company will be certified if you can prove that you have the following for the installation, maintenance, servicing, repair and decommissioning of equipment

employ sufficient competent personnel and
the competent personnel have access to the tools and procedures required for the activities subject to certification.

Please provide evidence of your personnel's expertise by means of the relevant certificates of competence (or certificates).

This also applies to activities in connection with fire protection systems and fire extinguishers.

The number of qualified personnel required depends on the expected annual volume of activities.

If your company is registered as a so-called EMAS company in the Community Eco-Management and Audit Scheme, simplified conditions apply.

Entry in the trade register
Delivery bills for the following tools: soldering equipment, extraction station, leak tester, installation aid

Fees (costs)

The calculation of the fee depends on the time required for processing and the following factors:

Location of the company
Competent personnel
Administrative effort

Deadlines

The application for certification must be submitted before commencing work.

Processing time

Your application will be processed as soon as we receive it.

Responsible body

The responsible authority is the State Administration Office, Department 402, Chemical Safety Division.

Applications / Forms

You can use the application to have your company certified to carry out activities on the refrigerant circuit.

Please sign the application by hand.

You can submit the application by post, e-mail or fax.

Application for certification of companies in accordance with Section 6 of the Chemicals Climate Protection Ordinance

You will receive the company certification if you submit the application form with the required attachments to the State Administration Office (by e-mail or post). The documents will be checked. If the documents are complete and there are no queries, you will receive the certificate by post.
