Applying for admission to a technical secondary school

Description

The Fachoberschule has the task of providing you with in-depth vocational training and enabling you to successfully continue your education at a university.

You can attend the Fachoberschule in the following disciplines and specialisations:

Economy and administration
- Economy
- Administration and administration of justice
Technology
- Engineering
- Media
Health & Social Affairs
- Bless you
- Welfare
Formation
Nutrition and housekeeping

The training usually lasts 2 years and includes grades 11 and 12.

By passing the final examination, you acquire the Fachhochschulreife.

Prerequisites

Realschulabschluss or equivalent level of education

Proof of an internship that you are looking for on your own responsibility. The school will confirm the suitability of the internship.

For admission to 12th grade:

Completed vocational training of at least two years
Realschulabschluss

Required documents

Completed admission form of the respective vocational school (usually available via the school's homepage)
Proof of appropriate admission requirements

None.

Deadlines

Application deadline is 15.03. of each year
Schools can set an earlier deadline for applications
Later applications can be considered within the scope of free capacities

Procedure

Select school location
Download the admission form from the school's homepage or pick it up in paper form at the school secretariat on site
Submit completed admission form and necessary documents to the school in accordance with school requirements
After successful selection and class formation process of the school, you will receive a message from the school
