Apply for a permit as an all-day school

Description

Schools can be organized as all-day schools. The design as an all-day school requires a pedagogical concept for a full-day educational work of the school. This pedagogical concept is decided by the conference as a whole. The establishment requires the approval of the school authority. The prerequisite is that the personnel and material conditions are met.

Required documents

Informal application for the establishment of an all-day school,
the pedagogical concept,
the description of the school situation and the justification for the establishment of the all-day school on the basis of a needs analysis,
the decision of the general conference on the pedagogical concept,
the decision of the School Parents' Council and the Pupils' Council of the School on the application,
the approval of the school authority to the application, including a statement that it has the necessary staff in accordance with point 6.3 RdErl. of the MB of 27.2.2019 "The work in the public all-day school" within the scope of its responsibilities,
the information provided by the planning authority on the school location as part of the medium-term school development planning,
information on the expected number of pupils participating, and
the opinion of the provider of the pupil transport with regard to the implementation of the all-day offer.

Deadlines

Applications for the establishment of an all-day school must be submitted to the Landesschulamt by 15.1. at the latest for the following school year.
Applications for changes to an approved all-day concept must be submitted to the Landesschulamt by 15.4. at the latest for the following school year.

Procedure

Applications for the establishment of an all-day school must be submitted by the school to the Landesschulamt by 15.1. at the latest for the following school year.
Applications for changes to an approved all-day concept must be submitted to the Landesschulamt by 15.4. at the latest for the following school year.
The Landesschulamt informs the highest school authority about the applications for the establishment of an all-day school provided for approval by 15.2. of each school year.
In the case of applications for changes to an approved all-day concept intended for approval, the information should be sent to the highest school authority by 30.4.
By 31.5.dem the State Education Office, the school will prove the actual number of participants and an offer that meets the requirements.
The State Education Office accompanies the implementation of the pedagogical concept. At the end of each school year, the Landesschulamt reports to the highest school authority on the development of all-day schools and at the end of the school semester and the school year on the use of the available budget funds.
