Apply for admission to the first state examination - state final examinations - for teaching qualifications

Description

If you wish to take the state final examinations for a teaching profession, you must apply for admission to the State Examination Office for Teaching Qualifications.

Prerequisites

You are studying to become a teacher at Martin Luther University Halle, Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle or the Protestant University of Church Music.
You have been admitted to the academic term paper part of the first state examination and are expected to submit it on time.

Deadlines

The State Examination Office publishes the deadlines on its own website.

You must apply for admission to the written final examinations 3 to 4 months before admission.

Please contact theState Examination Office for Teaching Qualifications (LPA).

Procedure

You complete the "Application for admission to the first state examination for state final examinations".
You complete the data collection sheet.
You submit both to the State Examination Office for Teaching Qualifications (LPA) by the deadline.
Before you do this, you should check whether you can prove that you have acquired the required credit points at the time of the actual admission (three to four months later)
- Elementary school and secondary school 215 LP each;
- grammar school and special school 245 LP each
and whether you will submit the academic term paper on time.

This application is initially a declaration of intent and will only be processed internally. Actual admission will be granted if you appear in person on the published dates and submit all required documents on time.
