Accepting offers from the educational protection of children and young people

Description

Young people are entitled to a healthy physical and mental education. The protection of children and young people is therefore primarily based on two pillars: educational measures such as the implementation of youth protection projects (e.g. child and youth telephones) that have a preventive effect (educational protection of children and young people) and legal regulations to limit dangerous influences such as the serving of alcohol or the sale of tobacco products (regulatory protection of children and young people).

Responsible body

The responsibility lies with the youth welfare offices of the districts and independent cities as the local provider of child and youth welfare. As a supra-local provider of child and youth welfare, the State Youth Welfare Office, Children and Youth Department of the State Administration Office is responsible.

As the objection and specialist supervisory authority for the regulatory protection of children and young people, the Department of Sovereign Affairs, Hazard Prevention, Foreigners Affairs of the State Administration Office is responsible.
