Apply for appointment as a tax advisor

Description

If you would like to work as a tax consultant in Saxony-Anhalt in the future, the official appointment by a Saxony-Anhalt Chamber of Tax Consultants is required.

In addition to passing the tax advisor examination or aptitude test (or the exemption from the tax consultant examination), your personal suitability determines whether you are appointed for the activity.

Prerequisites

You will be appointed as a tax advisor if

you have passed the tax advisor examination or aptitude test or have been exempted from the tax advisor examination,
you live in orderly economic conditions,
you have not lost the ability to hold public office as a result of a criminal conviction,
you do not carry out any activity that is incompatible with the profession (for example, as an employee in another profession or professional),
You have the confirmation of cover from a professional liability insurer (for employees: proof of admission to the employer's liability insurance)
you are not prevented from exercising the profession of tax consultant properly for health reasons.

Deadlines

Immediately after the appointment, you must settle down and work professionally, otherwise the Chamber of Tax Consultants must revoke your order.

Legal remedy

An action against the refusal of appointment as a tax advisor is admissible before the tax court.

Procedure

The application for appointment shall be submitted on an officially prescribed form.
Submit the completed form and application documents to the Chamber of Tax Consultants and transfer the fee for processing the application.
The Chamber of Tax Consultants checks whether you meet the requirements and decides on your application.
The order is made by handing over a certificate.
