Show start of construction

Description

Before you start a construction project that requires approval or does not require approval, you must notify the authorities. You can submit this notification of the start of construction in writing or online.

This also applies if you have interrupted construction work for more than 3 months and now wish to resume it.

This notification is not necessary if your building project is exempt from procedures.

You have a partial building permit, building permit or exemption from approval.

Procedure

Submit the notification of the start of construction to the building supervisory authority. You can submit the notification of the start of construction online or in writing.

Observe the deadlines.

The lower building supervisory authority will then check whether the requirements for the start of your building project are met.

The authority does not need to respond.

You can start construction work within 3 months of the notified start of construction. If the building supervisory authority gives other instructions, you must follow them.

If you do not submit the notification of the start of construction or do not submit it on time, this may be considered an administrative offense and you may have to pay a fine.the permit, building documents and structural engineering evidence must be available on the construction site from the start of construction.
