The following documents must be submitted for existing rent debts:

• termination without notice, action for eviction
• Tenancy agreement, the current rent amount and the last statement of operating costs
• Current proof of income (three most recent payslips; pension notice, citizen's benefit notice, ALG I notice, training allowance, BAFöG notice, parental benefit notice, child benefit notice, alimony or other income) from all persons living in the household
• Proof of current rent payment/current installment payments for energy
• Name of the energy provider and customer number
• Proof of maintenance payments
• Current notice of housing benefit (if this is granted)
• Bank statements for the last 2 months without gaps
• Copy of identity card/severely disabled person's card/mother's passport
• Proof of receipt of care allowance
• Written explanation of how the rent is owed
• Your telephone number and, if available, your e-mail address.

If you also have energy deb ts, please also provide these:

• Correspondence with the energy supplier (reminders, notice of suspension, annual consumption statement, etc.)
• A copy of this letter was given to you today.
